You decide which health information to provide. The Service cannot function properly without basic nutrition data, such as food entries and photos.

User Content includes:

Important: Food photos submitted for calorie analysis are sent to Nomz servers and processed using Google Gemini AI. Voice recordings are transcribed on Nomz servers. Text inputs are analyzed using Google Gemini AI via Nomz servers. All three — food photos, voice recordings, and text inputs — are permanently deleted from Nomz servers immediately after processing is complete. They are not stored, linked to your identity, or used for model training.
2.4 Usage Data
We automatically collect:
- Device type, operating system, and app version
- IP address
- Time stamps and activity logs
- Crash data
- Feature usage analytics
- Performance data
This data helps Us secure, improve, and optimize the Service.
2.5 Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Progress photos are never used for model training or shared externally.
7. Retention of Data
We retain Personal Data for as long as Your Account is active or necessary for the purposes described, Health Data until You delete it or delete Your Account, Usage Data for a shorter period unless needed for security, and backups for limited periods as part of standard retention practices.
- AI-processed inputs (food photos, voice recordings, and text entries submitted to AI features) — deleted from Nomz servers immediately upon completion of processing. Retention period: 0 days.
We delete or anonymize data when no longer needed unless legally required to retain it.

You can delete your personal data at any time through the following methods:
Delete specific data in-app:
- Food logs: Go to Home → tap any log entry → Delete
- Progress photos: Go to Profile → Progress Photos → select photo → Delete
- Account and all associated data: Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account
Delete your account:
Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, food logs, nutrition goals, health data, and progress photos from our servers. This action is irreversible.
To delete your account in the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account → Confirm
What gets deleted:
- Name and email address
- Health data (weight, height, nutrition goals)
- All food logs and calorie history
- Progress photos
- Account profile
What may be retained:
- Anonymized, non-identifiable usage analytics (cannot be linked back to you)
- Records legally required to be retained under applicable law

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect Your data. However, no online system is entirely secure.
